Cookie Policy

How naturaltest.id uses cookies, what each kind does, and how you can control them.

Who runs this site and what this page covers

This policy explains how naturaltest.id uses cookies and similar technologies, what they do, and how you can control them. It applies to every page on the site, including the habit guides, the food and nutrient reference, the training notes, the sleep and recovery pages, and this policy itself.

The site operator is NaturalTest Indonesia. If you have a question about anything written here, you can reach us at the address below or by email, and we will answer in plain language rather than pointing you to another document.

What cookies are

The short version: small text files your browser keeps on your behalf, not software that runs on your device.

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. It lets the site remember your actions or preferences over time — for example, that you had already opened a section, or that you had started filling in a field before you navigated away.

Cookies are not programs. They cannot run on your device, read other files, or install anything. Each one belongs to the site that set it, and your browser decides when to send it back. Clearing your cookies removes them the same way clearing your download list removes a record of past downloads.

Related technologies — local storage in your browser, for instance — work in a similar way and are covered by the same rules on this page. When we write "cookies" below, we mean cookies and these close relatives together.

We keep the list short on purpose. Everything the site sets falls into one of the groups below, and every group is described in the same terms here so you do not have to cross-check a separate table.

Group 1

Strictly necessary

These keep the site working. They remember form state while you are still typing, hold a session together as you move between pages, and help the server return the right content to the right request. Without them, a form you had half completed could empty itself the moment you checked a reference page in another tab.

Group 2

Analytics, where enabled

Where analytics are switched on, they tell us which pages get read and how readers move between them — for example, whether people arrive on the habits guide and continue to the food reference. Reports are aggregated. They show patterns across many visits, not who read what.

Group 3

Preference memory

If you open an accordion, close a notice, or set a display choice, a small cookie can remember it so the same question is not asked twice in one visit. Delete it and the site simply asks again next time.

Strictly necessary cookies are set whenever the site needs them to respond to your request. The other two groups are set only where we have turned the relevant feature on, and where the law requires it, only after you have agreed.

What we do not use cookies for

We do not use cookies for targeted advertising. We do not follow you across other websites, and we do not sell data to third parties. Nothing on naturaltest.id is built to build a profile of you in order to show you a different page next time.

If this ever changes — if we add a feature that would need a new kind of cookie — we will update this policy on the same day the change goes live, and we will give you a way to opt out before that cookie is used on your visit.

You can always check what changed: the current version of this policy is the one on this page, and we keep the wording plain so a change is easy to spot.

Third-party cookies

Some features, such as an embedded analytics service, may set a cookie from a third-party provider rather than from our own domain. Those providers have their own privacy policies, and those policies — not this page — govern what they do with the data that reaches them.

We choose providers carefully and limit the data they receive to what the feature needs: page addresses, a rough time of visit, and whether the visit came from a search engine or a direct link. Where we can, we configure reporting so that it does not include anything that identifies a person. If you would rather not receive these cookies at all, your browser settings can block third-party cookies without breaking the rest of the site.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or clear everything that has been stored so far. The exact wording differs — usually it sits under Privacy or Site Data — but the choice is yours on every device you use.

  • Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works — form fields can empty themselves and a session may end sooner than expected.
  • Deleting cookies keeps a copy on no device; the next visit starts with a clean slate and any preference you had set is forgotten.
  • Blocking third-party cookies is the simplest way to stop analytics on this site without losing any of the reading.

Where the law requires it, we ask before setting non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser, or by writing to us and asking. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place earlier, while consent was in place.

Before you switch a category off

Turn off analytics and the guides work exactly as before — you simply stop contributing to the aggregate reports. Turn off strictly necessary cookies and the site may forget a half-finished form. Preference cookies sit in between: losing them costs you a repeated click, nothing more.

If you are not sure which cookies you are holding right now, your browser's site-data list is the quickest place to look, and it names the site next to each entry.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if our practices change or if the rules that apply to us change. When that happens, the new wording appears on this page and replaces the old version. There is no archive to dig through — what you are reading is what is in force.

Because this page doubles as a reference for the whole site, it is worth a look if you have not opened it since your last visit. A single paragraph is usually all that moves.

Questions about cookies

Write to us and say which page you were reading and what you saw. That is usually enough for us to tell you which cookie was involved and what it was doing.
